20 Years of Cake Magic PHOTO CONTEST
It's been 20 years since Konitor & Cook opened its first shop in the backstreets of Waterloo. To mark our big birthday, we’re giving you reason to celebrate with a chance to win signature K&C cakes and brownies every week, as well as a grand prize of a day with our founder, King of Cakes Gerhard Jenne, including some fantastic behind-the-scenes action, after which you'll take home quite a lot of cake indeed.
We want to see your moments of Cake Magic from the last 20 years. We’re looking for photos of you and your favourite Konditor & Cook cakes or treats at home, at our shops, or anywhere else, celebrating moments big and small: birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, holidays, or just everyday moments of cake bliss!
There are three ways to enter our online contest:
(1) Like us on Facebook and submit your photo to our Cake Magic Moments gallery. Make sure to add a great caption!
(1) Follow us on Twitter (www.twitter.com/konditorandcook) and tweet a photo @konditorandcook of your Cake Magic moment along with the hashtag #cakemagic.
(2) Follow us on Pinterest (www.pinterest.com/konditorandcook) and upload a photo of your Cake Magic moment to one of your boards, or simply re-pin one of our cakes. Remember to put the tag #cakemagic in your description so we can find it - don't forget a fantastic caption!

#news - Time to grab your piping bag! CAKE SCHOOL has just opened it's doors to the public, and we are looking for some fine students to enroll and dive right into some top class decorating. We're starting with our Intro to Cake Decorating class, where you'll go wild on biscuits, cupcakes, and a whole Curly Whirly cake, which you'll design, customise, decorate and take home with you to show off to your friends and family! Won't they be so jealous of your skills? At least with 7'' inches of dark chocolate sponge with vanilla bean icing absolutely covered in your own colourful designs, you can share the love. #news - Spring is in the air. We can feel the weather warming up the city coming back to life, and we're turning up our ovens to help fuel the spring awakening.
The online shop is now populated by cakes, chocolates, and gifts: Our signature Magic Cakes, lemon with marzipan and apricot jam, come in pastoral hues of pink and marigold, decorated with springtime wildflowers. Simnel, that traditional English cake of spices, fruit, and almond paste, takes two forms - a family-sized cake and a gift-sized loaf in the shape of an owl. Chocolate Easter eggs abound in all forms from mini eggs to ostrich-sized. Cupcakes, cupcakes, cupcakes. And the hot cross bun transformed into a gooey white chocolate blondie.
All can be reserved to pick up in-store, or ordered for home delivery.

#news - Isn't there someone you've been meaning to ring? She's a lovely lady and you may know her as Mum. We get that you're busy, but would it hurt you to pick up the phone now and then? At least there's one thing guaranteed not to disappoint: Konditor & Cook's online shop is now stocked with Mother's Day treats, like a chocolate and vanilla Curly Whirly cake heart enrobed in marzipan, or lemon magic cakes that spell out 'I ♥ Mum'. If she has a sweet tooth, she won't be able to fault you for much after receiving any of these edible gifts - especially when they're delivered right to her door.
Mother's Day is Sunday, 10th March, so be sure to order online by 4 pm on Wednesday, 6th March for weekend delivery! Mum's the word...
#news - We have lift off, friends and lovers! Here at Konditor & Cook we are feeling the love and preparing to have a truly Cosmic Valentine's Day. The bakers are listening to "Venus", "Lucky Star", and "Light My Fire" in the kitchens, and our collection is definitely following suit with stellar magic cakes, a galaxy of cupcakes, and starry-eyed gingerbread lovers... We also have the return of our Dodgy Jammers that spell out a whole new range of four-letter words from the Lovers' (and Haters') Dictionary. You can make the trek out to us, or our online shop will beam it all right to your doors...
Remember: Men are from Mars, and Women are from Venus - make sure the cakes are from K&C!
