At Konditor & Cook we take pride in baking magnificent cakes & cooking tasty savouries.
We are also proud of providing the customer with an individual store environment (and as an added bonus our people like to work in them too)
Each Konditor & Cook shop has its own unique character, not following a cookie cutter concept.
Our store & bakery at 30 St Mary Axe, the Gherkin, was designed by Jamie Fobert Archtiects
Check out Fobert’s photo gallery, it features a great view of the on-site kitchen & cake decorating area.
An inspirational store environment, great food & excellent customer service makes Konditor & Cook one of the reasons worth living in London for!

St David's Day, Monday, 1st March25 February 2010 by
Saint David’s Day and March 1st was chosen in remembrance of the death of Saint David on that day in 589, and has been celebrated by followers since then. The date was declared a national day of celebration within Wales in the 18th century.
At Konditor & Cook, we will be celebrating with Welsh themed magic cakes, savoury recipes featuring leeks, leeks and more leeks and of course Mrs Davies’ Caraway Seed Cakes, a recipe that came to us, all the way from Cardiff.
MIKA Album Cake24 February 2010 by Gerhard
We helped launch Mika’s last album “The Boy Who Knew Too Much” with a number of these amazing cakes.
There was a selection Magic Cakes to match, and both provided a tasty marketing tool.
Now Mika is on tour. There is a concert in the Hammersmith Apollo this Monday, and dates in Europe too.
Some of Konditor & Cook’s people will go and see Mika at the Apollo this Monday. Thanks for the tickets!

Londoners share their secrets on a new hidden gem website featured in the Evening Standard
And Konditor & Cook’s Banoffee Pie is the best in London according to secretlondon.
Regular customers know that it’s not called ‘orgasmic’ for nothing.
Now that the secret is out, I would advise to pre-order if you want a whole pie.

Congratulations to the boys a Tuttitalia, and check out Tuttitalia’s website for your personal eco-friendly delivery of wines.

Behind the Scenes at Konditor & Cook11 February 2010 by Gerhard
You might think mixing butter, sugar, eggs & flour and consistently baking lovely cakes is the only thing we do at Konditor & Cook. It almost is, but we also cook & offer a range of freshly prepared hot & cold savouries.
Doing so, we employ nearly 100 people and have grown to 6 sites in the last 16 years.
Growing the business has created some interesting challenges and required a new skill set for the organisation.
In order safeguard this achievement, improve our people, as well as the customer’s experience, we embarked on a journey of business improvements. This was done by business consultancy GBI. A video produced by GBI details the improvements made to the organisation to date.
