You will: Support the General Manager in leading and developing the retail teams to deliver outstanding customer service; Inspire the retail team to drive sales and increase spend per head; Act as a Duty Manager in the absence of General & Assistant Manager, taking responsibility for the smooth running of the entire site; Undertake various administration activities from stock management to cashing up.

Master Barista - Gherkin

We’re looking for a skilled and customer focused Master Barista with the WOW factor to work in our busy shop at the iconic building in London, The ‘‘Gherkin’’.
About the Job: • You will be managing the fulfilment of hot drinks orders by ensuring a smooth procedure that minimises customer wait time and delivers consistently high standards of coffee • Driving the continuous improvement of coffee quality in the shop • Effectively monitoring the standards of coffee being made by the team giving feedback where necessary • Effectively leading staff training to improve quality & consistency of coffee • Owning the ordering and stock control of tea, coffee & hot chocolate • Ensuring the cleanliness of the coffee machine, the grinder & the surrounding area • This role is for around 25 hours per week

About the Job: • You will inspire and lead the retail team to give great customer service, drive sales and increase spend per head. • You will work closely with the team, taking responsibility for the smooth running of the operations of the entire site. • You will be responsible for the performance management and development of your team. • You will undertake various administration activities from stock management to labour planning. • You will be reviewing and responding to your weekly flash & monthly P&L report and monitoring & controlling your stores KPIs

Cake School Assistant (Part-Time)
We’re looking for a customer focused, cake loving Cake School Assistant with the WOW factor for our Cake School Branch.
About the Job: • You will provide warm and engaging service to our loyal customers • You will help to prepare the class by weighing the ingredients, mixing icing colors and setting-up the work areas. • You’ll help the teacher to provide a smooth running class and make delicious coffee • You will help to keep the classroom clean and organised during and after the class by washing-up and cleaning work areas • You will help with some recipes and technical parts of the class like making frosting, caramel sauce, minding the ovens and making piping bags. (no previous experience required as training will be provided) • You’ll take every opportunity to provide a memorable experience and recommend products and classes that will delight our customers • You will help with post cake school sales of the book or baking equipment • You’ll convey a passion for our fantastic cakes (this bit is easy!)

Baking and Decorating Internship

About the internship • You will be actively part of our team for 12 weeks. We run a whole year round program, so there are always internship positions available. • You will work in both our decorating and bakery section • You will learn all aspects of cake making, from preparing doughs to finishing and inscribing cakes

Kitchen Manager - Head Pastry Chef
We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to be in charge of the day-to-day management and operation of the kitchen. Ensuring that Konditor & Cook is making the best use of all available resources, and to actively seek ways to continually improve productivity and efficiency.
About You: Professional Pastry Chef with a minimum of 4 years’ experience. A ‘people person’ with an engaging and fun communication style. A team player who is always looking to learn and develop. At least 1 year experience as a manger or a supervisor with a passion for leadership and management.

About the Job: Lead and manage the whole kitchen team Display strong and effective leadership at all times, setting high standards for the team to follow throughout the shift Oversee the preparation and production of goods in accordance with the company’s recipes and methods Ensure the smooth operational flow of the kitchen and ensure that the kitchen operation is consistently delivering food of the correct quality and quantity to support the shop Carry out daily checks on cleaning rota, temperature fridge log, raw material delivery checks and temperature checks Manage quality control - ensure recipes and products are made against recipes and to specification and that products are consistently packaged to company standards and customer specifications. Ensure the premises are kept clean to company standards in accordance with the cleaning rota Conduct performance reviews in accordance with Konditor and Cook policies and procedures, ensuring fairness and consistency at all times
