Working in the shops, you are the face of the company, serving our customers delicious breakfast and lunch or our famous cakes & brownies. We hope our customers leave with a smile and come back again soon!
You are a key member of the management team, with your own distinct duties as well as supporting the General Manager. Many of our Assistant Managers go on to run their own Konditor & Cook shops within a year or so of joining, so it’s a great opportunity to grow your management career.
Running shifts in the shop, you are a vital member of the team that keeps the shop running smoothly. A first step on the management career ladder!
We want you to put your own personal stamp onto your shop, and run it as if it were your own business. You will look after both the shop and the on-site kitchen and bakery, managing a team of 5 – 15 team members to deliver a great cake experience for every customer.
The secret ingredient in our recipe is undoubtedly our shop teams. You are knowledgeable about the cakes and other products, able to discuss them with curious customers to make sure they leave happy and contented. Great service with enthusiasm and a smile is a given!
The beating heart of our operation, the Kitchens deliver the fabulous savoury food and cakes that we are rightly famous for. The kitchens are all attached to shops and you are very much part of the team, providing fresh dishes daily to our customers – hot lunches, divine brownies and extravagantly decorated cakes to name but a few!
Never overlooked, the Kitchen Porters keep our kitchens clean and functioning even at the busiest times! We aim to see our Kitchen Porter’s progress their kitchen careers with us, developing into one of the specialist kitchen roles in time.
Our chefs busy themselves creating simple but delicious savoury food for our breakfast and lunch offer. You’ll be preparing dishes from different world cuisines, curries, pizzas, tartlets, healthy salads and sandwiches—see the website for examples of our menu. You’ll need to be a good all-round cook who enjoys working in a busy kitchen and working with quality, fresh ingredients.
Our bakers are tasked with creating our award-winning sweet and savoury bakes—brownies, tarts, gingerbread and all things cake! Using only the best organic ingredients, you can deliver the WOW factor each and every time. Early mornings and high-volume batches are all part of the job, so you need to be a committed professional baker to thrive in this role.

Whether putting together a simple inscription, designing our famous Magic Cakes or creating a unique ‘Pièce de résistance’ celebration cake, these skilled individuals make our cakes and sweet baked products look amazing and help give Konditor & Cook its unique and quirky appeal.
