Behind the Scenes at Konditor & Cook
You might think mixing butter, sugar, eggs & flour and consistently baking lovely cakes is the only thing we do at Konditor & Cook. It almost is, but we also cook & offer a range of freshly prepared hot & cold savouries.
Doing so, we employ nearly 100 people and have grown to 6 sites in the last 16 years.
Growing the business has created some interesting challenges and required a new skill set for the organisation.
In order safeguard this achievement, improve our people, as well as the customer’s experience, we embarked on a journey of business improvements. This was done by business consultancy GBI. A video produced by GBI details the improvements made to the organisation to date.
A Facebook group entitled “Every street corner in London should have a Konditor and Cook’ gives us great encouragement.
With that in mind we are looking forward to further improvements and to deliver our services to more Londoners.
